OH and Erica's IN!! I got into round 1 for SDL's Beauty Contest. Wish her luck. This round is designing your character in a kimono in any time setting. I'm definitely going to try and design her kimono for a more future look.

And on a side note OMFG Done exams!!! I'll never have to take math again!! EVER!! *cackles insanely* Ugh why do I torment myself. (I already know that answer). *sighs contendly* Now I can get back to whats really important! Games and Art!

Ah! Speaking of which I LOVES THE HALF LIFE 2!! It's such a cool game though it takes forever sometimes to get through levels but it's got such a cool design to it and characters not to mention. DOG is my favorite so far. Unfortunately I got it through Orange Box so I haven't been able to play HalfLife 1. So I'm pretty confused on the whole storyline.

Okay you all know I want to make a comic with Erica and AI but I need some suggestions for how to do it.

Should I outline it in ink then grayscale it? [link] (with the blue color or just gray?)

Orrr should I do it in pencil then grayscale? [link] (like =Endling)

Orrr here's another one. Outline and shade in pencil and do very little color? [link]

I've got the rough story line done up to chapter 5 and I've roughed out Chapter 1. So all I need is this decision cause I don't want to change randomly through the chapters.

Hmm anything else? Well there are a whole bunch of contests out there I want to join like ~greenfrostfire's contest [link] I like it cause you don't actually get kicked out if you lose. At least I don't think so. He has written a VERY long explanation of the story so you'll need a bit of patience to read the story but the rules are simple! Read it! Join it! Battle it! (the last one doesn't work).

Well there is another contest like Survivor DA going on but this one is called Battle for Olympus! Check it out at 's journal [link]
I may join but I'm still thinking about it.

Oh and the neat thing about this contest is that you can do comics or stories! So if you like to write and aren't so good at drawing this is the contest for you! If you win you get a year's subscription to DA. So if you're interested send a note to him.

The awesome thing too is that they're a Canadian corporation but they are in BC...and I'm in Ont...which slightly sucks...

Well I've been ousted from Survivor: Deviant Art but truthfully I'm not surprised 's entry was awesome! I would have voted on his entry myself! Also he's putting Erica, my character into his Round Two entry so check it out when it's done! *sniff* its like I never lost *sniff* he's an awesome guy!

Anywho even though I've lost I finally know what kind of style I want to use on my comics. Also I can get started on my 100 picture challenge and any other art I want to do such as Erica's actual comic. Yes! You heard it! I'm going to start making her comic! It won't be up anytime soon but I've started out the storyboard. I'm so happy!

I've been thinking to try out for that 100 picture challenge. Mainly I've been wanting to improve my drawing majorly cause they looks so lame. Anywho it sounds interesting enough i'll give it a shot.

HUNDRED PICTURE CHALLENGE

The point of this challenge is to test and improve your skill as an artist. After 100 pics who wouldn’t be better? Please forgive me if this in any way excludes you from taking the challenge.
